Strength :-

Central Library of the College provides opportunity to the students to read rare and necessary treatises on the Political Science.

Department of Political Science is one of the popular Post Graduate centres in West Godavari District.

Department of Political Science provides consultancy and guidance for MPSC and UPSC examinations.

Weakness :-

Requirement of Permanent Teaching Faculty.

Separate Department Room is necessary.

Opportunities :-

Department can conduct a special self-supporting course on “Leadership in Local-Self Government Bodies” in order to enhance the interests of young generation in the Parliamentary Democratic processes.

Department can conduct a self-supporting course on “Human Rights”

To make the students coming from rural area able to face competitive examination.

Challenges:-

To generate resources from the self-supporting courses

To provide additional infrastructure to start a research center Departments.
